The Genadyne XLR8+ Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) System is for use in patients who would benefit from NPWT, particularly as the device may promote wound healing by the removal of excess exudates, infectious material and tissue debris. It is a powerful device that can be used for heavy wound exudate for extended periods of time, offering continuous, variable and intermittent therapy modes, as well as intensity level setting options. The XLR8+ is designed for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds; partial-thickness burns; pressure, diabetic and venous ulcers; flaps; and grafts. The XLR8+ NPWT System is suitable for use in acute, long-term care and home settings.
